Ukraine strikes Russia with US-supplied ATACMS missiles

Ukraine has used US-supplied ATACMS tactical missile systems to carry out a successful strike on Russian military facilities.

Details: The General Staff did not specify when the strike was carried out or which facilities were hit.

Background: In September, The Wall Street Journal reported that US President Donald Trump said during a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy that he was ready to lift restrictions on Kyiv's use of long-range American weapons to strike targets on Russian territory.
