Ukrainian government appoints acting energy minister
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Artem Nekrasov as acting Minister of Energy of Ukraine following the dismissal of Svitlana Hrynchuk.

Details: Prior to this appointment, Nekrasov served as Hrynchuk's first deputy and earlier headed the State Company Guaranteed Buyer.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a legal counsel in the Legal Department of Sumyoblenergo, the head of the Legal Department of Zorya-Mashproekt, and adviser to the general director of Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo.
Since 2017, he had held senior positions at Kharkivoblenergo: deputy director for asset protection in economic security, director of Kharkivenergozbut, and commercial director of Kharkivoblenergo.
In 2020-2021, he was an adviser to the director of the Kalush Thermal Power Plant and later an adviser to the president of Energoatom, Ukraine's state-owned nuclear energy company.
Until 2025, he served as acting head of Guaranteed Buyer.
Nekrasov graduated from the National University of Internal Affairs with degrees in Law and Information Systems in Management in 2001.
He also obtained a specialist qualification from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University in Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics.

- On 19 November, the Ukrainian Parliament voted to dismiss Svitlana Hrynchuk from the post of Minister of Energy.
- On the same day, the Ukrainian Parliament also voted to dismiss Herman Halushchenko from the post of Minister of Justice.
- A total of 323 Members of Parliament voted in favour of the dismissals.
