Details: The military reported that the defence of the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration is ongoing. Air Assault Forces and other units are resisting the Russians, who are trying to cut off the land route between Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk.

The military say logistics to Myrnohrad is difficult but being maintained as required.

Quote: "Russian forces are attempting assaults with small infantry groups from the north-eastern direction, in particular from the area of the settlement of Novoekonomichne. These attempts are detected in time by our units, fire is opened, and the enemy is wiped out.

Some enemy assault troops are preserving their lives by surrendering. Marines in this area have captured four Russian occupiers."

Details: Russian attempts to advance south of Myrnohrad have also been blocked. Ukrainian forces are destroying Russian assault groups on the approaches to the city.

Search and assault operations continue and Russian forces are being wiped out in urban areas of Pokrovsk. Ukrainian defenders are preventing Russian forces from gaining a foothold, destroying assault troops and cutting their supply routes on the city's outskirts.

Background: Ukraine's 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces earlier reported that Russian forces are attempting to cut the land route between Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk and encircle Myrnohrad.
