Andrii Yermak, who has just been dismissed as head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, was due to travel to the US for negotiations on a "peace agreement".

Details: The sources said Yermak resigned a day before "he was supposed to travel to Miami for talks with President Trump's team about the peace plan".

Yermak, along with several of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's advisers, was to hold negotiations with US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Axios reported.

Details: One Axios source said that Yermak's resignation "put the negotiations in flux" but would not change Ukraine's position on ending the war.
