Russians occupy three settlements and advance on Pokrovsk front

DeepState has reported that Russian forces have occupied the settlements of Balahan, Solodke and Zatyshshia.

DeepState says the Russians took control of 505 sq km of Ukrainian territory in November, with 40% of advances made near Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

As of the morning of 3 December, Operational Command Skhid (East) reported that Ukrainian defence forces are securing additional logistics routes to supply units in Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, where fighting continues.

Background:

  • Ukraine's General Staff reported that over the past day on the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 52 Russian assault actions near the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Maiak, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and Dachne and towards Novopavlivka.
  • Andrii Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council, reported that Russian attempts to occupy Huliaipole on the Zaporizhzhia front have failed.
