Details: Syrskyi said that over 710,000 Russian soldiers have been deployed along the front lines stretching approximately 1,255 km.

He added that the Russian side loses around 1,000-1,100 soldiers killed or wounded daily, "and a majority are killed".

"At this stage the Russian army is attempting to advance along virtually the entire front line," the commander-in-chief noted.

The fiercest fighting is taking place around the cities of Lyman and Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast, the city of Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast and near the town of Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Quote: "Our strategy is to exhaust the Russian army as much as possible, prevent its advance, hold our territory, while simultaneously striking the enemy in the near rear, the operational depth, and… into Russia itself, with the aim of undermining its defence capability and industrial capacity."
