Macron briefs Zelenskyy on results of his international talks
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on the evening of 6 December.

Details: The French president wrote at 21:16 Kyiv time that he had just spoken with Zelenskyy.
Quote from Macron: "I reiterated our condemnation and support following the new Russian strikes.
I shared what my latest international talks, particularly in China, have helped to clarify and initiate."
Details: Macron emphasised that France is determined to act together with other allies to achieve de-escalation and a ceasefire.
He noted that the parties will continue to coordinate their efforts at a meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in London on Monday in the light of the latest discussions between the Ukrainian and American sides.
"Europeans must be a significant cornerstone of the fair and lasting solution that we are working together to build," Macron added.
Background: Earlier on Saturday 6 December, Macron condemned the latest large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine's energy and railway infrastructure and pledged that France will continue supporting Kyiv in its pursuit of peace.
