Zelenskyy: only option for ceasefire is signing of framework agreement

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Thursday that the only option for a ceasefire in the Russo-Ukrainian war is the signing of a framework agreement.

In my view, it is no secret that the Russians will not agree to a ceasefire if there is no agreement. Our position has not changed – we believe that a ceasefire is needed. But we are receiving exactly this information: the only option for a ceasefire is the signing of a framework agreement."
