Quote: "One of the jets was on the taxiway with a full combat load and ready for a sortie. It has been destroyed.
The estimated value of both aircraft is around US$70 million.
Additionally, damage to the control tower has been confirmed, which may complicate the organisation and control of flights at the airfield."
Details: The SSU says this marks the second successful strike on the Belbek airfield in recent days.
On 18 December, SSU drones destroyed Russian military equipment at the same airfield worth hundreds of millions of dollars: two Nebo-SVU radars, a 92N6 radar from the S-400 Triumf SAM system, a Pantsir-S2 air defence system, and a MiG-31 jet with a full combat load.
Quote: "SSU strikes on key military airfields, as well as the destruction of enemy aircraft and air defence systems in temporarily occupied Crimea, significantly reduce its military potential in the region. This systematic work will continue."
