Portugal to allocate €600,000 to support Ukraine's energy sector, Ukraine's PM says
Portugal's Prime Minister Luís Montenegro has announced during a visit to Kyiv that Portugal is set to allocate €600,000 to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.

Details: Svyrydenko said she had held a meeting with Montenegro, during which she thanked him for Portugal's support for Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion and for hosting Ukrainian refugees.
"Together with the Prime Minister, we discussed the Build in Ukraine and Build with Ukraine defence initiatives, where our countries have strong potential for cooperation, including joint drone production," she said.
According to Svyrydenko, Montenegro also announced "Portugal's first contribution of €600,000 to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund".
"We highly value this step by our partners," Svyrydenko added.
The two sides also agreed to work on an intergovernmental agreement that would facilitate the entry of Portuguese businesses and investments to the Ukrainian market.

- On 20 December in Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Luís Montenegro signed a partnership agreement on maritime drone production.
- The signing took place during the Portuguese prime minister's first visit to Ukraine.
