Drones attack petrochemical plant in Russia's Stavropol Krai, large-scale fire breaks out – video
Drones attacked the town of Budyonnovsk in Russia's Stavropol Krai on the night of 22-23 December. Local authorities have confirmed a fire in an industrial zone, while social media reports suggested the strike hit the Stavrolen petrochemical plant.

Details: Vladimirov confirmed that a fire had broken out in the industrial area but claimed there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
He did not specify which facility had been targeted. However, monitoring channels and local residents reported that the strike had hit the large Stavrolen petrochemical plant.
Photos and videos circulating online show a strong glow in the sky and a large-scale fire at the scene.
For reference: Stavrolen LLC is a major petrochemical company that is part of the Lukoil group. It is Russia's second-largest producer of polyethylene and the third-largest producer of polypropylene. The plant has an annual capacity of more than 300,000 tonnes of polyethylene, 120,000 tonnes of polypropylene as well as benzene and vinyl acetate. Its products are used as raw materials across various sectors of Russian industry.
