Russia loses 1,420 soldiers over past day

Russia has lost 1,420 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,199,280.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 23 December 2025 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 1,199,280 (+1,420) military personnel
• 11,446 (+8) tanks
• 23,792 (+20) armoured combat vehicles
• 35,331 (+23) artillery systems
• 1,576 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 1,263 (+0) air defence systems
• 434 (+2) fixed-wing aircraft (losses from the previous period have been confirmed)
• 347 (+0) helicopters
• 93,166 (+453) operational-tactical UAVs
• 4,073 (+0) cruise missiles
• 28 (+0) ships/boats
• 2 (+0) submarines
• 70,966 (+113) vehicles and fuel tankers
• 4,029 (+0) special vehicles and other equipment.
