Energy facilities in Ukraine's western oblasts have suffered the most from Russia's attack on 23 December.

Details: Svyrydenko said that energy facilities in Ukraine's western oblasts have suffered the most from the attack on 23 December.
She added that emergency power outage schedules are being applied across the entire country due to the Russian attack. These will be cancelled as soon as the situation in the power system has stabilised.

Background:
- On the morning of 23 December, a large-scale air-raid warning was issued throughout Ukraine. Russian forces are conducting a combined attack using cruise missiles and attack drones. Air defence systems have been reported to be operating in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, as well as in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
- Russia once again attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, prompting emergency power outages to be introduced in a number of oblasts.
