Head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service to carry out tasks in Defence Intelligence – Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Oleh Ivashchenko, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, will carry out tasks "in a position within Defence Intelligence of Ukraine".

Details: Zelenskyy said he held a meeting with Ivashchenko regarding the overall situation in Ukraine and current threats.

Background: Earlier, a source within Volodymyr Zelenskyy's team told Ukrainska Pravda that Ivashchenko was likely to head Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, replacing Kyrylo Budanov, who was appointed Head of the Office of the President.
