Emergency power outages have been introduced in some Ukrainian regions on the morning of 6 January.

Details: Emergency outages were announced by the regional power companies in Sumy, Kharkiv and Poltava oblasts.
The companies said the measures had been implemented due to damage to the energy system caused by Russia's latest attacks.
Background: Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 61 attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) since the evening of 5 January, including with Shahed and Gerbera drones as well as other types. A total of 53 drones were downed, but there were also strikes.
