Woman, 61, killed in one of Russian attacks on Sumy Oblast

A 61-year-old woman has been killed in the Myropillia hromada in Sumy Oblast as a result of another Russian attack.

Details: According to the investigation, the body of a 61-year-old woman was discovered on 6 January in the Myropillia hromada of the Sumy district. Early reports indicate that she was killed in a Russian attack.

Prosecutors, working in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are establishing the circumstances of the incident. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into alleged war crimes resulting in a person's death (Article 438.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Background: On 4 January in Sumy Oblast, a 54-year-old man was injured in a Russian drone attack, and another drone struck a civilian vehicle.
