Mobile kitchens offering free hot meals to be rolled out across Kyiv – Prime Minister Svyrydenko

To ensure that Ukrainian citizens are able to receive free hot meals, the State Emergency Service is deploying mobile kitchens.

Details: Svyrydenko said that 41 mobile kitchens are already operating in Kyiv, with a further 40 in reserve that can be deployed if needed.

"We are preparing a decision on additional funding from the State Budget's reserve fund to provide hot meals for vulnerable groups of the population, particularly in the capital," Svyrydenko added.

Background: Denys Shmyhal, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, reported on a meeting with Ukrenergo, a Ukrainian state-run power regulator, during which he instructed that improving energy connectivity between Ukraine's west and east be treated as one of the priority tasks.
