Russia loses 1,170 soldiers over past day

Russia has lost 1,170 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,229,740.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 21 January 2026 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 1,229,740 (+1,170) military personnel
• 11,587 (+8) tanks
• 23,938 (+10) armoured combat vehicles
• 36,463 (+70) artillery systems
• 1,621 (+3) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 1,279 (+0) air defence systems
• 434 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
• 347 (+0) helicopters
• 112,159 (+1,019) operational-tactical UAVs
• 4,190 (+27) cruise missiles
• 28 (+0) ships/boats
• 2 (+0) submarines
• 75,238 (+171) vehicles and fuel tankers
• 4,049 (+1) special vehicles and other equipment.
