UAE Foreign Ministry announces start of Ukraine-US-Russia talks

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates has announced that two-day talks between Ukraine, Russia and the United States have begun.

Details: UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the holding of the trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi and expressed hope that the discussions would help bring an end to the war.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had announced that trilateral Ukraine-US-Russia talks would take place in the United Arab Emirates on Friday and Saturday.

The Ukrainian delegation will consist of Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the President's Office; Serhii Kyslytsia, his first deputy; Rustem Umierov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council; Davyd Arakhamiia, leader of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction; and Andrii Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The discussion will focus on the points of the "peace plan".
