Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia: number injured rises to 12, including four children

The number of people injured in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on 3 February has risen to 12, including four children. Two people have been killed.

Quote: "Twelve people have been injured, including four children: the number of people affected as a result of yesterday's Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia has increased."

Details: Fedorov said people are continuing to seek medical help. Medics are diagnosing them as having blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, contusions and concussion.

Another child is now known to have been injured in the attack. In total, children aged 11, 12, 15 and 17 were injured in the strike. All of those injured are being provided with necessary medical treatment.

Background: It was earlier reported that the Russians had struck a residential district of Zaporizhzhia and authorities said 11 people had been injured, including three children. Two people were also reported killed – a man and a woman both aged 18.
