Zelenskyy: over 1,100 apartment buildings in Kyiv have no heating, number of repair crews to increase

More than 1,100 multi-storey residential buildings in several districts of Kyiv are currently without heating.

Details: Zelenskyy said there must be a clear deadline for restoring heating in each building and guaranteed support for those living there.

"In Kyiv alone, more than 200 repair crews are currently working, and according to the Ministry of Energy, this number will be increased to ensure proper rotation of crew members – people are exhausted," Zelenskyy said.

Background: As of 4 February, energy workers have stabilised the situation in Kyiv following the latest round of Russian strikes, restoring electricity to 100,000 consumers.
