Russian strike on market and apartment blocks in Druzhkivka, Donetsk Oblast, kills seven people

Early reports indicate that seven people were killed and eight others injured in Russian strikes on the city of Druzhkivka in Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast on Wednesday 4 February.

Details: According to Filashkin, the Russians bombarded the city with cluster munitions, hitting a market directly, where there is always a large crowd of people in the morning.

Filashkin noted that the final number of those who suffered from this attack has not yet been confirmed. He said he would provide further updates on any significant developments.

According to Filashkin, all relevant services are working at the scene: providing assistance to the injured and dealing with the aftermath of the attack.

Filashkin added that the Russians had also dropped two aerial bombs on Druzhkivka. An industrial area, three apartment blocks and three houses were damaged.

He urged local residents to evacuate to safer regions.
