Details: Outages have been recorded in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy and Odesa oblasts. In particular, a significant part of consumers in the city of Odesa remain without electricity supply as a result of the drone strikes.
"Electricity consumption has increased. Today, on 16 February, as of 09:30, its level was 10.8% higher than at this time on the previous working day – on Friday," the statement said.
As of morning, 178 settlements in eight oblasts were fully or partially without electricity due to adverse weather conditions (wind gusts and wet snow accretion) in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
Background: Russian attack on 12 February left around 500 buildings in Kyiv without heating.
