Ukrenergo outlines aftermath of latest Russian attack on Ukraine's energy sector
Russia carried out a combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure on 22 February, leaving consumers without electricity in six regions.

Details: Ukrenergo reported that, as of the morning, consumers in Odesa, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Poltava oblasts were left without power due to the attack and to strikes along the front line.
Emergency repair works have already begun where the security situation allows, and power engineers are working to restore damaged equipment as quickly as possible.
Ukrenergo added that electricity consumption restrictions are in place in most regions of Ukraine.
Background: On the morning of 22 February, an air-raid warning was issued across Ukraine due to the take-off of a Russian MiG-31K, as well as the threat of ballistic missiles and drones from the south and north.
