Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast on 22 February damaged Roman Catholic church and monastery
Church buildings in Kyiv Oblast have been damaged as a result of a Russian attack, including the monastery and church dome.

Details: The bishop said that the dome of the church in the Boryspil district was hit. The monastery of Carmelite sisters in Sofiivska Borshchahivka also came under attack.
The blast wave blew out windows together with frames and damaged interior furnishings of some premises.
Quote: "Good God preserved the lives and health of our Sisters. They, as they themselves testify, were not even frightened and continue to fulfil their extremely important mission – to pray for the Church, for our Homeland, for its defenders and for the coming of just peace," Kryvytskyi added.
Background: Russians carried out a large-scale missile and drone attack on Kyiv Oblast during the night and morning of 22 February, injuring 17 people, including four children. One person was killed. Boryspil, Bucha and Fastiv districts sustained the most severe damage.
