Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) has published updated data on companies cooperating in the production of Russian Orion UAVs, as well as foreign components found in the Iranian-made Shahed-107 and the Russian Phoenix drone.

Details: The Orion (also known as Inokhodets) is a strike and reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle produced by the sanctioned Russian group of companies Kronshtadt. Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence presented its interactive 3D model and a list of companies involved in the production chain.

The database has now been expanded to include 19 additional companies that manufacture components for the anti-icing and fuel systems and flight and navigation equipment, as well as elements of the radio-electronic command-and-information interaction system. This means that the total number of companies listed in the database as involved in producing the UAV has increased to 70.

In addition, DIU added 30 electronic components identified in the Iranian Shahed-107 drone used by the Russian forces and in the QIR50TPro gyro-stabilised optical electronic system of the Russian Feniks reconnaissance UAV.

The agency had previously published an interactive model and the component database for the Shahed-107. The latest update supplements it with 15 additional components discovered in another model of the drone used by the enemy.

"Recent events in the Middle East demonstrate that the weapons Russia is currently using against Ukraine pose a threat of terror and strikes against civilian infrastructure in other regions of the world. Publishing such data is intended to consolidate international efforts to counter the proliferation and use of such weapons systems," DIU noted.

Background: DIU recently unveiled an interactive 3D model of the main elements and components of the Russian new Izdeliye-30 cruise missile, as well as data on 20 companies involved in its production.
