One killed and 18 injured in Russian attack on residential area in Zaporizhzhia – photos, video

One person is known to have been killed and eighteen injured in a Russian attack on a residential area in the city of Zaporizhzhia.

Details: Prior to that, Fedorov reported that the strike had damaged a high-rise residential building and caused a fire.

Earlier on Saturday, he said that a guided aerial bomb had hit the village of Tavriiske in the Zaporizhzhia district, killing a 32-year-old man.

Update: Fedorov reported that the number of people injured in the strike on Zaporizhzhia has risen to five. One woman's condition is critical and the others are in a moderate condition.

The number of people injured later rose to seven. Early reports indicate that one woman is still trapped under rubble.

Update: Fedorov said two people had been trapped under the rubble, but they have been rescued by emergency services and are receiving medical treatment.

At 17:04, Fedorov reported that the number of people injured in the Russian strike had risen to 10, including a 17-year-old boy in a critical condition.

Later, Fedorov said that the Russians conducted four guided aerial bomb strikes on residential areas of Zaporizhzhia.

One man was killed. Three men and eight women were injured, including a 17-year-old.

Two people trapped under debris have been rescued. A fire that broke out at the site of the strike has been extinguished.

Twelve apartment buildings and twelve houses were damaged, along with an infrastructure facility and vehicles.

As of 18:13, the number of injured had risen to 13.

By 19:37, the number of injured had increased to 18, including two children.

The 17-year-old boy with shrapnel wounds is in a serious condition. A 15-year-old girl suffered an acute stress reaction.
