Quote: "With the change in weather conditions, the Russian aggressor has increased pressure simultaneously on several sectors of the front. For several days in a row, the number of combat engagements has exceeded 200."
Details: Syrskyi said that Russian losses also increased significantly: about 4,840 Russian soldiers were killed and wounded between Tuesday and Thursday.
"The activity of the enemy's numerically superior forces requires new, asymmetric solutions from us. Ukrainian troops are acting actively, seizing the initiative and continuing to regain positions," the commander-in-chief noted.
Syrskyi reported that he had made a working trip to areas of the Operational Command South, where he met with the command of the grouping and commanders of assault and air assault units.
"We coordinated further actions taking into account the enemy's tactics and clarified tasks for each unit in its area of responsibility," he said.
The commander-in-chief also issued the necessary orders to strengthen supplies of ammunition, drones and other logistical resources.
Background: Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian troops are holding positions that are almost the same as those they held last year.
