Woman killed and man injured in Russian strike on Druzhkivka

A woman has been killed and a man injured after Russian forces struck Druzhkivka in Donetsk Oblast with nine aerial bombs.

Quote: "A woman born in 1954 has been killed. A man born in 1951 has been injured, and first responders provided him with first aid."

Details: The State Emergency Service said nine aerial bombs hit a residential area in the city.

Damage was caused to twelve houses, an outbuilding and an infrastructure facility.

Fires broke out at the impact sites, affecting parts of the outbuilding and personal belongings.

Firefighters contained the blaze over an area of 121 sq m but temporarily suspended firefighting efforts due to the threat of further strikes.
