Details: For four years the family lived under constant pressure as Russian forces conducted searches in their home, intimidated them and made threats.

Quote from Bring Kids Back UA: "Last year the occupiers confiscated the family's car along with the documents and threatened to evict them from their home. Ukrainian passports were being seized and destroyed, so people had to bury them to preserve their identity."

More details: Bring Kids Back UA reports that the girl's dream is to complete her school education and go to university. By making it back to Ukrainian-controlled territory, she has taken an important step towards her goal.

Quote: "Preparation for the departure took several months. Despite numerous challenges, our partners managed to devise a safe route and organise the return. Today the family is receiving comprehensive support for reintegration, including assistance from social workers and psychologists."

Background: Earlier, we reported on how 15 other children and teenagers were brought back from temporarily Russian-occupied territories. Some had lived without water or food due to constant attacks, while others had endured interrogations by the FSB.
