Large-scale drone attack reported in Russia's Taganrog, evacuations and damage – video

Authorities in the Russian city of Taganrog in Rostov Oblast have reported a drone attack, damage and the evacuation of residents, while social media users have written about powerful explosions.

Details: Social media reports described it as the "most powerful attack" on Taganrog since the beginning of the full-scale war with Ukraine, with explosions said to have continued for more than two hours.

Kambulova said the city had experienced a large-scale drone attack.

Slyusar reported one fatality and one injury from the attack, along with damage and evacuations.

"There are fires and destruction on the ground. People have been evacuated. Information is being confirmed. Efforts to repel the aerial attack in Taganrog are ongoing. A drone threat has been issued across Rostov Oblast," he said.
