Russians strike critical infrastructure and agricultural facilities in Chernihiv Oblast

The Russians have struck a critical infrastructure facility in Chernihiv Oblast, attacked another agricultural facility and damaged a regional history museum building.

Details: Late on the evening of 29 March, a Geran drone struck a critical infrastructure facility on the outskirts of Chernihiv. Emergency workers extinguished a fire at the strike site.

Also on the previous day, the Russians struck the building of the regional history museum in Semenivka with an FPV drone, damaging the roof.

The day before, the Russians struck a village in the Semenivka hromada – a drone hit a grain storage facility. In the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, the Russians damaged an energy facility. An FPV drone strike also disrupted communications. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Earlier, a strike was recorded on the territory of a food production facility in Chernihiv. A warehouse, equipment and products were damaged. In the Semenivka hromada, strikes hit a mobile communications facility and a boiler house.

Background:

Some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv oblasts remain temporarily without electricity as of the morning of 30 March as a result of hostilities and Russian strikes on energy infrastructure facilities.
From the evening of 29 March, the Russians attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 164 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types; 150 drones were downed, but some strikes did occur.
It was previously reported that the Russians deliberately targeted an agricultural facility in a village in Semenivka hromada in Chernihiv Oblast.
