Three women injured in Russian strikes on central Kherson and Dniprovskyi district

Three women were injured in Russian attacks in Kherson on 9 April. An 89-year-old woman was wounded in attacks on the city centre, while two employees of a combined heat and power plant were taken to hospital after a drone strike.

Details: At about 10:00 Russian troops attacked central Kherson. An 89-year-old woman who was outside at the time came under attack. She sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to her leg. Medics treated her at the scene.

At noon, Russian forces attacked the premises of a plant in the Dniprovskyi district with a drone.

Background: Russian forces conducted drone attacks on the city of Kherson on 7 April, targeting an ambulance with three medics as well as two doctors who were walking home.
