Zelenskyy wants to create "European anti-ballistic system" in a year

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine should, together with European countries, create an anti-ballistic air defence system within a year.

Quote: "I believe, and this is my idea, that we should have a European anti-ballistic system. We are talking with several countries and working towards this. We are talking to our companies and setting tasks, but we need to create our own anti-ballistic system within a year."

Details: When asked whether this could realistically be achieved within a year, Zelenskyy replied: "It is realistic. It is very difficult, but it depends on the components."

When asked to clarify whether he had discussed this idea with European countries, Zelenskyy noted that he had not yet spoken to all of them. "I have spoken with the key countries with whom I wanted to discuss this," he added.
