Commenting on the survey results, KIIS Executive Director Anton Hrushetskyi said: "Hostile propaganda (and the specific media policy of some Ukrainian so-called 'allies'), on the one hand, is not successful in convincing Ukrainians to see an obstacle to peace in Ukraine/Europe. On the other hand, however, these 12% are several million of our fellow citizens. In absolute terms, this is a large number of people, which indicates that from the point of view of information security in Ukraine, many risks remain."

For reference: The nationwide survey by the KIIS was conducted using phone interviews based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers in all government-controlled regions of Ukraine. A total of 1,005 respondents were surveyed.

The survey was conducted among adult citizens of Ukraine (aged 18 and over) who at the time of the survey were residing in territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.

Under normal circumstances, the statistical margin of error for such a sample (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account a design effect of 1.3) did not exceed 4.1% for indicators close to 50%, 3.5% for indicators close to 25%, 2.5% for indicators close to 10%, and 1.8% for indicators close to 5%.

Under wartime conditions, in addition to the formal margin of error indicated above, a certain systematic deviation is also possible.
