The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) observed damage to meteorological monitoring equipment at the External Radiation Control Laboratory at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant during a visit on 5 May.

Details: IAEA representatives visited the laboratory a day after a drone attack on the plant was reported.
Quote: "Team observed damage to some of the lab's meteorological monitoring equipment which is no longer operational."
Background: On 3 May, a drone attacked the External Radiation Control Laboratory at the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which is located outside the plant's perimeter.
