Russian drone kills man on road between settlements in Sumy Oblast

A 38-year-old man was killed in a Russian drone strike in the Sumy district.

Details: Hryhorov said the man's body was found on 19 May.

The man was killed in a targeted Russian drone strike on a road between the Khotin and Sumy hromadas. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Quote from Hryhorov: "He was a resident of the Khotin hromada. Because of constant enemy attacks, he and his family had evacuated to the city of Sumy."

More details: Law enforcement officers and relevant services are currently establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy.

Hryhorov pointed out that Russian forces continue to deliberately attack civilians and leave no safe opportunity for movement in border areas.

Background: On the morning of 19 May, two people were killed and four others injured in a Russian strike on the Hlukhiv hromada.
