Drone wreckage falls on passenger train due to Russian attack on Sumy railway station

Wreckage from a Shahed-type drone has fallen onto passenger train Sumy-Rakhiv, causing a fire in one carriage.

Details: Ukrzaliznytsia said the Russians had used a drone to attack the premises of the railway station in Sumy. It was shot down over the station, causing wreckage to fall onto a carriage.

Passengers and the train crew were not injured as they were in a shelter. The train has now departed and is running more than 5 hours behind schedule.

Background: Some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts have been temporarily left without electricity as a result of the hostilities and Russian strikes on energy facilities.
