Details: According to Ukrenergo, there are currently no adequate security conditions to inspect the line. This latest total blackout of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant is already the 19th since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion.

As a result of Russian drone strikes and artillery shelling, as of the morning, consumers in Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts are left without electricity.

Meanwhile, electricity consumption has decreased. As of 09:30 on 11 June, it was 1.2% lower than at the same time the previous day, Wednesday 10 June.

The reason for the change is clear weather conditions across Ukraine.

Ukrenergo is asking consumers to shift the use of high-power electrical appliances to the period of peak output of industrial solar power plants – from 10:00 to 15:00.

Meanwhile, they urge saving electricity during the evening peak hours – from 18:00 to 22:00.

Background: The Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) has approved amendments to the state budget that will allow additional funds to be allocated to ensure the safe operation of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the exclusion zone.
