Ukrainian forces strike two Russian-controlled bridges – General Staff
Ukraine's General Staff has reported that units of the defence forces struck a number of key Russian facilities, including two bridges in occupied territory, on 29 June and on the night of 29-30 June.

Details: The strikes targeted a road bridge near Azovske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and a railway bridge near the settlement of Ichki in temporarily occupied Crimea. Russian forces use these bridges to transport personnel, weapons, ammunition and other military supplies.
The results of the strikes are being confirmed, the General Staff added.
In addition, Ukrainian forces struck Russian ground control stations near Vesyolaya Lopan in Russia's Belgorod Oblast, Komar in Donetsk Oblast, and Myrne, Luhove and Skelky in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
A Russian command and observation post near Staromlynivka in Donetsk Oblast was also hit.
Background:
- On 16 April, the 1st Azov Corps of Ukraine's National Guard said it has taken control of all Russian logistics routes near occupied Donetsk and will now destroy any targets moving along them.
- On 29 May, Defence Intelligence of Ukraine released footage showing operators from its unmanned systems units disrupting the Crimea-Donetsk land corridor and destroying Russian military equipment deep behind Russian lines.
- On 6 June, drone operators from Ukraine's 3rd Regiment of Special Operations Forces (SOF) said they had taken air control over part of the Russian land route to Crimea.
- At the end of June, mid-range drone strike units from Ukraine's SOF, working together with members of the SOF Resistance Movement in Russian-occupied Ukraine, destroyed a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal near the village of Rozdolne in temporarily occupied Crimea.
