The authorities in Russia's Tatarstan have reported damage to certain facilities in the city of Nizhnekamsk following a drone attack.

Details: Telegram channels reported that the Nizhnekamskneftekhim petrochemical complex may have been struck, with fires breaking out following drone strikes.

According to an OSINT analysis by ASTRA, a fire broke out in the Nizhnekamsk industrial zone, where TAIF-NK JSC, Tatneft's TANECO refinery and NKNK (Nizhnekamskneftekhim) are located.

As ASTRA notes, footage from eyewitnesses shows a drone falling in the area of the TAIF-NK facility, which is located next to the TANECO refinery. NKNK also operates in the same industrial zone.

TAIF-NK is a large oil refining complex in Nizhnekamsk. TANECO is part of the Tatneft structure. NKNK is one of Russia's largest petrochemical complexes, producing, among other things, synthetic rubber, plastics and ethylene.
