Germany and Ukraine sign agreement on joint production of BARS drones
Ukraine and Germany have signed an agreement on the sidelines of the NATO summit on the implementation of a joint production project for BARS unmanned aerial vehicles.

Details: The agreement was signed by Sybiha and German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius.
The Ukrainian minister said the agreement has been concluded as a result of joint efforts by Ukraine's Ministry of Defence and Germany's Federal Ministry of Defence within the Build with Ukraine initiative.
"The German side will finance the production of the UAVs during the first phase of the project, and all manufactured equipment will be delivered to Ukraine's Defence Forces," he added.
Background:
- On 7 July, Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of drone technology on the sidelines of the NATO summit.
- On the same day, Ukraine also signed a cooperation agreement in the field of drone technology with Estonia.
