Zelenskyy signs decrees appointing new commander-in-chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces and chief of General Staff

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed decrees appointing a new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a new chief of the General Staff.

Details: According to the decrees published on 22 July, Oleksandr Syrskyi has been dismissed as commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Mykhailo Drapatyi has been appointed to the post after being relieved of his duties as commander of the Joint Forces.

Ihor Skybiuk has been appointed chief of the General Staff, replacing Andrii Hnatov.
