"A wonderful person": lawyer Kateryna Shalupnia killed in attack on arms exhibition in Kyiv Oblast
Lawyer Kateryna Shalupnia, originally from Chernihiv, was killed in a missile strike on a training ground in Kyiv Oblast where an arms exhibition was being held.

Details: Mezentseva said she had known Shalupnia through their joint work in international policy and the Kharkiv branch of the Servant of the People party, where Kateryna was a coordinator of the regional Zelenskyy's Team Women movement.
Mariia Mezentseva called her death "an irreparable loss for her family, the entire team and the cause to which she devoted herself every day".
"Our colleague, a wonderful person and a true professional. For us, Kateryna will forever remain more than just a driving force and a reliable pillar of the UAROR Secretariat team.
She was a true embodiment of the young generation of Ukrainians – educated, responsible, deeply humane and highly professional experts who build the future of our state every day. Kateryna was a wonderful mentor, an example of dedication to her work and a person with a huge heart," UAROR wrote.
The Kharkiv branch of the Servant of the People party thanked their colleague for "her kindness, sincere smile, open heart and everything she did for the team".
"You will forever remain part of our history and our hearts," the party added.
A farewell ceremony for Kateryna will take place on 27 July at 11:00 at St Volodymyr's Cathedral in Kyiv. She will subsequently be buried in her native Chernihiv.

- Russian forces attacked Kyiv Oblast on 24 July, striking an arms exhibition held at a training ground. Hundreds of participants were injured and at least 10 were killed.
- Among those killed was Valentyna Savitska, a communications officer of the State Security Administration of Ukraine.
- Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into the tragedy, and the organiser of the event, who is under guard at a medical facility, has been served with a notice of suspicion. According to Ukrainska Pravda sources, the individual in question is Vasyl Honcharuk – a preventive measure is expected to be chosen for him on 27 July.
