Russian drone strikes firefighters battling blaze in Zaporizhzhia Oblast – photos

A Russian drone has attacked firefighters while they were extinguishing a forest fire in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia Oblast, injuring four of them.

Details: According to the State Emergency Service , the firefighters came under a second Russian drone strike while tackling the fire.

Four firefighters sustained blast injuries and minor shrapnel wounds. All of them have received the necessary medical assistance.

Quote: "Russia continues to destroy civilian infrastructure and deliberately target State Emergency Service units, violating all the norms of international humanitarian law."

Background: On 27 July, Russian forces again attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia, damaging residential buildings and injuring seven people.
