Russian drones strike Ukrainian online marketplace warehouse, worker killed and seven injured

Russia struck a warehouse in Kyiv Oblast belonging to Rozetka, a Ukrainian online marketplace, with a jet-powered drone on the morning of 1 August.

Details: One worker, Volodymyr Melnychenko, was killed. Seven more are currently in hospital, one of them in a serious condition.

A total of 270 people were working at the warehouse at the time of the Russian attack.

Quote: "We will provide the injured and their families with medical, psychological and material support. Sadly, nothing can bring a person back to life. All our thoughts and condolences are with his family."

More details: Chechotkina also said that the company will continue operating and will restore the warehouse.

Background: The number of people injured as a result of Russian attacks on Kyiv Oblast on 1 August has risen to nine, with one person killed.
