Russian attack destroys logistics warehouse of Intertop Ukraine retailer

A large-scale Russian attack has completely destroyed the Denka Logistics warehouse, where goods for Intertop Ukraine were stored.

Quote from Intertop: "This night, as a result of another Russian attack, the main logistics warehouse storing INTERTOP Ukraine goods was completely destroyed – the high-tech DENKA LOGISTICS complex, which for many years served as the main logistics hub of MTI Group."

Details: No one was killed or injured among Intertop Ukraine employees, but the scale of destruction is described as enormous.

"In a matter of minutes, one of the company's key logistics facilities, which had been operating continuously since 2009, was destroyed. Tens of thousands of orders were dispatched daily from here to customers across Ukraine," the statement added.

Along with the warehouse, a significant portion of inventory, logistics infrastructure and equipment has been lost.

The company is currently assessing the damage and reorganising operations to minimise disruption for customers.

"For some orders, delivery times may be slightly longer, but we are doing everything possible to keep delays minimal," the company noted.

Intertop Ukraine added that all paid-for but yet undelivered orders will be processed. If order completion is not possible, customers will receive full refunds.

Background:

• During the large-scale Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of 4-5 August, the main logistics centre of NOVUS and two distribution centres of Silpo, two of the largest grocery store chains in Ukraine, were damaged, killing six company employees.
• On the night of 4-5 August, a sorting hub in Kyiv belonging to Nova Poshta (Nova Post), Ukraine's largest private delivery company, was destroyed in a large-scale Russian attack. Three people were killed and eight were injured in the strike.
• The same night, a distribution warehouse complex in Brovary belonging to Rozetka, one of Ukraine's largest retailers and online marketplaces, was destroyed in a strike by three ballistic missiles.
• A Russian strike also destroyed the central warehouse of Liqui Moly Ukraine, a supplier of motor oils.
