Russia can reportedly produce up to 80 S8000 Banderol missiles per month.

Quote: "They have a relatively short range of around 500 km, so Russia effectively launches them from Crimea against Odesa."

Details: The missile was developed and is manufactured by the Russian company Kronstadt. Russian companies are reportedly operating in three shifts to maintain the reported production rate.

According to the DIU, the Banderol has a maximum speed of 620-650 km/h and a cruising speed of 520-560 km/h.

  • Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an adviser to Ukraine's defence minister and radio technology expert, said earlier that Russia aims to produce 120 Banderol missiles per month but has not yet reached its planned production rate.
  • DIU has also released technical details of the S8000, a new Russian Banderol cruise missile, on its War&Sanctions portal.
