Woman, 76, killed and eight people injured, including child, in Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast
A 76-year-old woman was killed in the village of Shyroka Balka and eight people, including a child, were injured when the Russians attacked Kherson Oblast with artillery and drones on 24 August.

Details: A 76-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries in the Russian attack.
Later in the day, a Russian UAV hit an apartment in a high-rise building in Kherson's Tsentralnyi district, destroying a balcony, shattering windows and damaging walls and rooms inside the flat.
A 63-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman have been injured in the strike. They were diagnosed as suffering from blast injuries, closed traumatic brain injuries and concussion. Those injured are currently receiving medical treatment.
In addition, Kherson Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that Russian forces had dropped explosives from a drone at around 12:40, injuring a child. An 11-year-old boy, who was inside a house during the strike, has been taken to hospital.
The emergency service reported that a warehouse building caught fire in Kherson after being hit by Russian UAVs. The ensuing large fire has since been extinguished.
Update: Kherson Oblast Prosecutor's Office later added that as of 17:30, eight people are known to have been injured as a result of the Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast on 24 August.

Three adult civilians and an 11-year-old boy have been injured in Kherson as a result of enemy drone attacks today.
Three people have also been injured as a result of artillery strikes on the village of Komyshany, and one person has been hurt in Bilozerka."

- On the morning of 24 August, Russian forces struck an apartment building in the centre of Chernihiv with a drone, causing a fire. Eighteen people are currently known to have been injured.
