Russians carry out massive airstrike on Kramatorsk: people injured

Russian forces have carried out a massive airstrike on Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast, hitting residential infrastructure and apartment block neighbourhoods, with people injured.

Background:

• On the morning of 20 August, Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk and Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast. Shops were among the targets. Russian forces dropped nine guided aerial bombs on the centre of Kramatorsk. The strikes caused two major fires at commercial facilities.
• As of the morning of 21 August, two people were known to have been killed and 11 injured.
